Peep out the flyer I drew for Girls Gone Graff.  This Friday 2-11-11 at 9:00pm we're celebrating Mike Fearo & DJ Trixters birthday in Long Beach at The Rhythm Lounge.  This is one event not to be missed.  Live hip-hop performances by Parallel, Nite 'N' Dae, Yota One, Ill Stars, Definite and Westronauts.  Live DJ sets by Defy, Efechto, Mr. Digglz, Endo, Dubs One, DJ 1987, DJ Trixter and DJ Thots.  Live bodypainting by Besk, Brief, Cale, Germfree, Vyal and Xplode on models Gabby Jean, Joanna Aimee, Ashley Alvarez.  It's all going do at 245 Pine Ave., Long Beach $10 at the door 21+.

Saturday night was the opening reception for "Love is in the Hair" art show curated by Circus from The Shapeshifters.  The show was a great success and had some of the dopest artists in Los Angeles exhibiting their work.  It all went down at the Ultra-Lux Salon in Redondo Beach which was decked out in vintage furniture, art and good vibes.  The beers were flowing, art was selling and the patrons were dancing.  A great representation of how we do things out here in the West Coast.  The artwork will be on display for 1 week, for more info visit www.ultraluxsalon.com.

I participated in a group art show curated by Scott Aicher last Saturday called The San Pedro Rock & Roll Art Show at the Croatian Cultural Center in San Pedro along with Shanty Cheryl, Craig Ibarra, Victor Gastelum and Scott Aicher.  The show was a great success and had the support of all the local punkers.  There were even performances by Toys That Kill, Hippy Riot! and Bombon.  To check out photos from the event visit http://pedroartrock.blogspot.com.

I went to see The Pain at the infamous Whisky a few weeks ago and they smashed it with their brand of straight up, in your face metal/thrash/punk rock.  They feature members from Manhole and Drunk With Power.  Los Angeles graffiti artist AXIS from the legendary CBS crew plays guitar.  You must seek them out and get exposed to The Pain.  Check out AXIS'S website WWW.STYLEPIG.COM to find out more.  Here are a few pics from that night.
